Designer, photographer, film director, history lover…There are few hats that Karl Lagerfeld doesn’t wear. The Kaiser donned the latter two at the preshow feast and premiere of his film Reincarnation, a prelude to Chanel’s Métiers d’Art show occurring the following evening. To complement the historical backdrop of the collection, Lagerfeld hosted the event at Europe’s oldest restaurant, St Peter Stiftskeller.
Per usual, Rihanna provided the shock factor on the red carpet at the star-studded British Fashion Awards. The boundary-pushing fashion icon donned a Stella McCartney tuxedo jacket—and little else—to join Naomi Campbell in presenting an award.

These days, Art Basel in Miami Beach is as much about the parties as it is about the art. When asked about her taste in art at Louis Vuitton’s dinner for the late designer Pierre Paulin, Michelle Williams admitted she isn’t much of an art connoisseur. “I think my friend Kate is really beautiful, and I like to stare at her face,” she said, referring to stylist Kate Young. “That’s my kind of art.”

While the Victoria’s Secret Angels began the evening of the VS Fashion Show making all of womankind self-conscious as they stomped their perfect bodies down the runway in their skivvies, many ended the night partying in their jeans, like normal people. Amen, Angels.
