As a tribute to the love and unity felt among families during Ramadan, the iconic jewelry house, along with house ambassador Nancy Ajram, has released a new short film. The festive feature, titled “With Love, We Fly”, serves as a celebration of the power of love, and how love alone helps empower, encourage and support individuals.

In true Tiffany & Co. style, the Ramadan film sees Nancy Ajram wearing a series of captivating jewelry pieces — namely, the Flame earrings in platinum and yellow gold with diamonds, the Stitches bracelet in platinum and yellow gold with diamonds, and the iconic Sixteen Stone ring in platinum and yellow gold with diamonds. However, one creation that deserves a special mention is the jewelry house’s emblematic Bird on a Rock design. First created as a brooch by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in 1965, this is a motif that holds special meaning, serving as a metaphor for the stability that family provides, and a symbol of optimism and joy. For the Ramadan video, Ajram dons a pendant version of the design crafted in 18k gold and featuring a a 20.2-carat cushion-cut diamond. To match the pendant, she also wears a Bird on a Rock ring with fancy intense yellow diamonds and white diamonds, each over four carats.

“Bird on a Rock is more than a magnificent piece of jewelry for me,” Nancy Ajram shared. “It serves as a connection to love. Perched on its beautiful rock, the bird is a powerful symbol of freedom and stability. My loved ones, especially my family, are my rock. They at once ground me and give me wings, so that I am free to put my heart into everything I do.” Over the years, the Bird on a Rock design has been reinterpreted time and time again with the world’s most exceptional colored gemstones, with its 1995 rendition featuring the Tiffany Diamond being one of its most notable versions.

In Tiffany & Co.’s Ramadan video, Nancy Ajram’s voice, accompanied by the soothing sounds of bird wings and Qanun writing, shares a powerful message. “Rise, we are meant to fly. Trust, let go, fly. Like a bird on a rock, we always come back to love. And we fly, higher, with love we fly.” The message is clear.

As an extension of the film, new images of Ajram channeling her Ramadan spirit see the musician smiling for the camera overlayed with rich calligraphic brushstrokes in Tiffany Blue® ink. Created by multidisciplinary artist Carla Salem, the calligraphy spells out the name of the video “With Love, We Fly”, to create distinctly inspiring visuals.
