Gigi Hadid made her fashion week debut at Desigual’s Fall 2014 show a year and a half ago. Today, she is considered a bonafide “It” girl and has made a name for herself in the industry by fronting high-profile campaigns and walking the runway for renowned fashion houses.
The daughter of LA-based property developer Mohamed Hadid and former model Yolanda Foster, Gigi has worked with a number of prestigious fashion houses, including Chanel, Versace, and Marc Jacobs. The 20-year-old further consolidated her top model status this Spring 2016 season where she rocked major runways, including Diane von Fürstenberg and Tommy Hilfiger in New York, and Versace in Milan. Towards the end of Milan Fashion Week, the older sister of Bella Hadid and pal of Kendall Jenner penned a heartfelt open letter on Instagram, calling out online trolls.
