There were plenty of power couples in 2014: The world’s most eligible bachelor (George Clooney) settled down with British lawyer Amal Alamuddin; Angie and Brad finally made it official; and Kanye put a ring on Kim in Paris. But we were consistently swooned by celebrity sisters, who proved that when it comes to a great beauty look, two is definitely better than one.

The Knowles girls know a thing or two about creating striking beauty looks; see Beyoncé’s headline-worthy baby bangs and Solange’s graphic orange eyeliner. When the pair took to the stage at Coachella, however, we were not only jealous of their musical genes, but also their bouncy curls.

From lips to locks, the youngest sisters in the Kardashian clan are on constant beauty watch worldwide. With sleek dark strands and nude lips, we were pleasantly surprised by their relatively understated looks…though there was nothing coy about their thigh-grazing, underwear-defying dresses.

Though their days of solving mysteries in matching trenchcoats are long gone, we still enjoy when the pair makes similar beauty moves. Center parts, bronze smoky eyes, statement earrings, and belted black dresses are a sophisticated take on twin dressing.

Both Brits know how to party, pull off undone waves, and celebrate one another’s successes. Big sister Poppy presented Cara with Model of the Year at the BFAs, saying, “Ever since you told me at the age of 4 that you wanted to be Claudia Schiffer, while you were naked in the bath with a sponge on your head, I knew you were destined for great things.”
