Zaha Hadid’s Last Jewelry Collection is a Striking Ode to Her Life’s Work

The internationally renowned, award-winning architect Dame Zaha Hadid collaborated with Danish design house Georg Jensen on a range of jewelry called The Lamellae Collection before her unexpected passing in March of this year. Inspired by Hadid’s Wangjing Soho—a three-tower structure located in Beijing, China—the collection re-imagines the famed building complex which is notable for its curvilinear lines.

The eight-piece, contemporary fine jewelry line consists of three cuff bracelets and five rings that resemble architectural structures. The ribbon-like silhouettes are finished in polished gold, matte rhodium, and silver; and are traced with black diamonds. Get a first look at the striking collection in the gallery below.

The Lamellae Collection will be available for pre-order via Moda Operandi starting July 19th and will run for two weeks until August 3rd.
