Italian designers Riccardo Audisio and Yago Goicoechea, founders of Dubai-based womenswear brand Taller Marmo, are making it easier than ever for discerning customers to shop their latest line up via a trunk show in Dubai from July 3rd until July 5th. The three-day event will give clients the opportunity to pre-order the Taller Marmo Resort 2017 ready-to-wear collection before anyone else. Speaking to Style.com/Arabia about the upcoming collaboration, Goicoechea revealed, “We are looking forward to launching our direct-to-consumer events, as this was one of our goals for 2016. We created a brand inspired by women and we cannot wait to have the opportunity to hear their feedback.”
The brand’s latest offering includes covetable printed jacquard silhouettes inspired by an illustration that dates back to 1581 by Nakkaş Osman, the chief miniaturist painter for the Ottoman Empire during the late 16th century. The collection also features crisp shirts, oversized sleeve tops, bomber jackets, and bi-colored, wide-leg pants that feature striped prints and the label’s graphic motif in a candy colored palette.
