Today, Sonia Rykiel announced that Julie de Libran has been appointed as artistic director, replacing Geraldo da Conceicao, who spent five seasons at the helm of the label. Formerly Marc Jacobs’ right-hand woman at Louis Vuitton and head of the Resort and Pre-Fall collections at the French maison, de Libran will now be in charge of carrying the legacy of the fiery redhead designer.
