Today’s Daily Treat is close to our heart. This morning, a half marathon is being ran in Paris in support of the Guerlain and Naked Heart Foundation teams, fundraising for their 100th playground in Russia.
Founded in 2004 by supermodel Natalia Vodianova, the foundation aims to provide a safe environment for children by offering them urban playgrounds that keep impoverished children off the streets. These playgrounds nurture children’s social skills and capabilities and offer the possibility to “just play” as any child of of the world should. In order to raise more funds, Vodianova has teamed up with Russian retailer, Centro, for a capsule collection exclusively available on Net-A-Porter; with all profits from sales benefiting The Naked Heart Foundation. “I think that looking good and doing good go really well together,” said Vodianova.
