Much has been made of a Parisian’s way of life and how to emulate her seemingly timeless wardrobe, that even Chanel muse, Inès de la Fressange, penned a style guide, Parisian Chic.

Now, model turned music producer, Lancôme’s new beauty muse, and the epitome of Parisian effortless allure, Caroline de Maigret, has also penned a book called How to be a Parisian out on September 2nd.

Together, with three of her best friends and co-authors: Anne Berest (novelist), Audrey Diwan (writer), and Sophie Mas (actress), all unconventional yet accomplished career-women, she reveals in a refreshingly honest and humorous take what it really means to be une Parisienne.

The foursome divulge their personal tips on how to appear mysterious, look natural, and make your other half jealous; they also share some of their favorite haunts in Paris and disclose what they think about children, weddings, and exercising.
