As the UAE is celebrating both the Expo 2020 win and its forthcoming 42nd anniversary, Dubai-based designer and founder of Kaleidoscope by Mimi, Mimi Shakhashir, has created a range of necklaces, bags, and pendants in collaboration with artist Noorah Sultan Al Habtoor as an homage to the country’s achievements. The designs pay tribute to the three-fingered victory salute of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The iconic salute is reported to mean “winning, triumph, and excellence” and comes as a diamond-embellished charm on today’s Treat, a semi-precious beaded bracelet.
“Enthusiasm, innovation, and pride in Arab culture are cornerstones of the Kaleidoscope by Mimi design ethos, and we produced this line of accessories to celebrate this new victory salute associated with its creator and the leadership of the UAE,” said Mimi.
