Today’s Treat takes on the shape of a sculptural heel, available only at Level Shoe District at The Dubai Mall and is designed by Anas Younis Shanaah, of the Aennis Eunis brand.
Part of the Jordanian designer’s Fall ‘14 shoe collection, these “Magic” soft pink pumps with a brushed-leather finish show that the architectural trend is as strong as ever for next season. Here, Younis introduces Arabic calligraphy to pay homage to this ancient artistic practice.
Of his inspiration behind his new design, Eunis explained, “The inspiration is always a marriage of two basic elements: women, femininity, beauty, … to show the ‘Arabic’ influence and to render its beauty as an important feature in the designs. Then, every season I work around a theme to group all the designs and give them unity in colors, shapes, and textures. This season (Fall ‘14), it was The Alchemist (Paulo Coelho). ”
