2016 Emmy Awards: Red Carpet Celebrity Style

Stars of the small-screen flocked to the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Sunday night to celebrate the 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Taraji P. Henson stood out in a lemon Vera Wang number, while Priyanka Chopra, Tatiana Maslany, and Portia Doubleday opted for bold, red gowns. However, it was Sarah Paulson who stole the spotlight. The American actress donned a Kelly green, embellished dress by Prada. On the lighter side of the color spectrum were Emilia Clarke and Sofía Vergara. The actresses arrived in nude dresses courtesy of Atelier Versace; while Kristen Bell reached for a blush, botanical motif gown by Zuhair Murad Couture.

Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the awards ceremony saw Game of Thrones receive the award for outstanding drama series. The record-breaking show now holds the highest number of Emmy Awards. Meanwhile, Veep received the award for outstanding comedy series, and The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story claimed several awards. One of them went to Sarah Paulson, who won the trophy for lead actress role in a limited series. Rami Malek took home the award for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for Mr. Robot; and Tatiana Maslany accepted the title of outstanding lead actress in a drama series for her role in Orphan Black.
