On Sunday night, award-worthy hair and makeup swept the 2016 Emmy Awards red carpet with looks that ranged from bombshell beauty to understated glamour. Emily Ratajkowski stepped out with washes of steel blue eyeshadow wrapped around her almond eyes and a sleek ponytail swept to one side.
The side part was also spotted on 16-year-old Black-ish actress Yara Shahidi, and Baywatch star Priyanka Chopra. Shahidi teamed her natural curls with a dewy complexion and a neutral makeup palette; while Chopra elevated her sleek, low ponytail with a swivel of siren red lipstick that matched her crimson Jason Wu gown.
Elsewhere, Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke abandoned her character’s trademark platinum mane for a romantic, chocolate updo replete with a neat center part. Scandal’s Kerry Washington opted for fuzzy, free-flowing ringlets and minimal makeup, but it was her blossoming baby bump that stole the show.
