Janet Jackson has taken to Twitter to announce that she will halt her Unbreakable world tour. In a selfie video—and with a beaming smile on her face—Jackson says, “My husband and I are planning our family.” The 49-year-old singer is married to Qatari magnate Wissam Al Mana who owns his namesake Qatar-based conglomerate Al Mana. Jackson continued the clip saying, “Please if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now,” before adding, “I have to rest up. Doctor’s orders.” She then reassures viewers that she will continue the tour as soon as she can, before thanking her crew and fans for all their love and support. While Jackson does not pointedly state that she is pregnant with her first child, the announcement indicates that there will be more updates in the near future as she signs off the video by saying, “Inshallah, I will see you soon.”
