These days, there is no shortage of multi-brand shopping outlets but when you’re looking to buy the best, there are a few names which stand out for their variety as well as quality; Moda Operandi is one of them. Here, the luxury boutique’s general merchandise manager, Elizabeth Leventhal, shares her top picks for Fall 2015.
Buyer’s Guide: Moda Operandi
Trends for Fall 2015
Pastels: Saying goodbye to summer is never easy, but the soft colors from Dolce & Gabbana, Emilia Wickstead, and Delpozo make it a little easier. I love the idea of pairing powder blue with burgundy as the season progresses for a chic pastel pop.
Trends for Fall 2015
High necks: This might be my favorite trend from the runway. It’s so feminine but surprisingly (or maybe not so surprisingly) sexy. Standout of the season: Emilia Wickstead’s powder-blue stunner. Notable mentions: Cushnie Et Ochs, J.W. Anderson, Marni, and Giambattista Valli.

World of Interiors: Dare I say that designers had an interior motive this fall? From Dolce & Gabbana’s use of lace and mirrored elements to wallpaper-esque prints from Marni, and Charlotte Olympia’s velvet cushion handbag, there was no shortage of interior elements on the runway.

3D Detailing: I believe the saying is: the devil is in the details; thankfully, it’s just the opposite for fall. Gorgeous 3D features were everywhere on the runways, from No. 21 and MSGM to Nina Ricci and Giambattista Valli.

‘70s: This season’s a throwback to the ‘70s: silhouettes: flares, detailing (fringe), and fabrics (shearling, denim, and suede). Prepare to #TBT your look next to your mother's, courtesy of Ellery, Marni, Giambattista Valli, and Frame Denim.
