If lip gloss is a beauty staple you abandoned in middle school, thanks to Christian Louboutin, you may want to consider reintroducing it to your makeup bag. Following the launch of the House’s hotly anticipated lipsticks last summer, the famed Paris-based shoe designer (who ventured into beauty in 2014) has revealed a new line up of high-shine lip lacquers—dubbed Loubilaque—that will undoubtedly be the prettiest thing you see today.
The new beauty offering will arrive in eight high-impact shades—ranging from the brand’s signature red to a fleshy nude—and will retail for US $85; AED/SAR 312 when they hit shelves on July 1st. Monsieur Louboutin reveals that the highly pigmented collection is a daring one, and explains that the glossy must-haves are “for the bold woman who wants to bring attention to her lips.” The new Christian Louboutin lip gloss offers an intense color pay off (similar to that of a liquid lipstick) with added shine, and won’t leave your lips feeling sticky.

The formula-meets-objet d’art comes encased in clear, pointed tubes topped with an ornate crown-like cap. The polished topper can be threaded with the accompanying silk ribbon and worn around the neck like a pendant to provide you with easy access should you require a touch-up.
The Loubilaque lip gloss collection will be available in selected stores and on www.christianlouboutin.com from July 1st.
