The year 2014 has been a beautiful one to behold. With Instagram taking over the fashion and beauty realms, we discovered a new set of starlets to watch. Here are the top ten Arab beauties that were on our radar in 2014 and who we plan to continue following next year:
We admire this Lebanese singer-turned-actress for her bold makeup choices. The blunt bangs that she sported earlier this year complemented her striking features and gave her a retro edge.
A former Miss Lebanon and now an actress, Nadine Njeim was our go-to girl for party makeup looks in 2014. She works a metallic smoky eye and nude lip to the max, never failing to look spotlight-worthy.
MTV Lebanon anchor Stephanie Saliba rocked a multitude of beauty looks created for her by makeup artist Talal Morcos. One of our favorite looks was this pretty-in-pink makeup that was both sophisticated and feminine.
Lebanese beauty Razane Jammal is a rising star of the silver screen, and also a contributor to Style.com/Arabia’s VOICES initiative. A Walk Among the Tombstones, Jammal’s first Hollywood blockbuster, is out now, and we’re sure to see more of her on the big screen next year. We’ll be watching out for her on the red carpet.
Singer Myriam Fares has been dubbed the Beyoncé of Lebanon by her legion of fans. Her mass of chocolate-colored curls and dark, almond-shaped eyes make her an instantly recognizable beauty. Known to command the stage like a true diva, Fares is firmly in our beauty spotlight.
