According to catwalkers like Karlie Kloss and Kasia Struss, sleep, SoulCycle, and homemade chicken soup are just what the doctor ordered for beating cold and flu season.

"I run every morning near my apartment in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. If I get sick, I'll drink hot ginger tea with honey and lemon. I also make a chicken soup with broth and a bunch of vegetables that I buy from small groceries in my neighborhood. On my skin, I use an organic vitamin C serum from Whole Foods that gives me a healthy glow. I also like rosewater for hydrating and toning."Photos: Indigitalimages.com;

"I drink orange juice, and I get smoothies made with apple juice and bananas for energy. I also take fish-oil supplements and vitamin C, which helps with immunity and my skin. My auntie taught me to apply honey as a mask, which is antibacterial and helps keep my skin clear."Photos: Indigitalimages.com; Alamy

"I'm not mad for juices, but I like a fresh juice off the street every now and then. I also take a multivitamin, drink lots of water, and add a packet of Berocca to boost my immune system. If my eyes are red and irritated from having a cold or being sick, I'll use Optrex drops from the pharmacy."For exercise, I walk everywhere and swim at the indoor pool that's near my house in Stoke Newington [London]. Also, sleep helps keep me healthy. That's one thing I need but can't get enough of during fashion week!"

"For me, fashion month and life are not separate. I eat and do the same things. I practice yoga at home and keep my skin clean with Bioderma Créaline and rosewater. I also like to eat a quinoa salad with broccoli, cucumbers, and pomegranates, which have a lot of antioxidants for energy."Photos: Indigitalimages.com;

"I carry Strepsils Orange With Vitamin C Lozenges in my bag, because they help numb your throat if it's sore. I also have an apple-scented Walgreens hand sanitizer to keep the germs away! Otherwise, to stay healthy, I like apple, spinach, and kale juices from Juice Press."To keep my energy up, I run on the West Side Highway for 30 minutes as my cardio every day. I also do Kayla Itsines' 12-week workouts, which focus on different areas of your body. Plus, I jump rope and box."

"I try to make a healthy breakfast of eggs, cheese, and fruit in my apartment before the shows. I also grab fresh orange juice on the go. For my complexion, I visit a traditional Chinese doctor who prescribes a mask customized to my needs, with lots of different natural ingredients—it really works to keep skin healthy. Otherwise, I apply Crème de la Mer so I stay hydrated during fashion week."Photos: Indigitalimages.com;

"To keep my energy up, I try to eat healthy and sleep at least eight hours a day. I don't eat a lot of carbs, which are hard for me to digest, and I stick to vegetables and light protein, like fish. For breakfast, I love cereal and yogurt. Otherwise, I like to make a ratatouille with broccoli, tomatoes, and zucchini."I prefer to eat the actual foods rather than do juices; I get more fuel that way. On the plane, I drink at least two liters of water and avoid the food they serve. Instead, I'll try to have a Greek salad with vegetables and cheese before I get on the flight so I'm not so hungry. I also take magnesium, because I work out a lot—it's good to replenish your muscles and body."

"I think the most important thing for staying healthy is to have a good breakfast. I like cereal, oatmeal, and fresh juices, and I snack on real energetic foods backstage: nuts, bananas, apples. I also take Berocca with vitamin C, which keeps you healthy when you're rushing around to fittings and staying out late."My mom says that when you get sick, you need to smell garlic. I put it in a bag and rub it on my chest if I have a cough. I also drink hot ginger tea with lemon, honey, and a bit of rum, so it soothes and numbs my throat."

"If I start drinking more coffee than water, I get sick. I drink water with packets of vitamin C, which I get from the small grocery near my apartment on East 4th Street between First and Second Avenues. And I get the OMG! My Favorite Juice! from Juice Press. I like that it has lots of greens and fruit but isn't bitter."I exercise a lot, which keeps your blood moving. I do interval training and work out with my trainer, Neil Andrews, at Blink Fitness. I also try to do one class a week, whether it's hot yoga, Pilates, or SoulCycle. I like to switch it up."

"I eat a lot of fruit, nuts, and trail mix for energy. I'll use pawpaw on my lips and face if they're dry, and also on my cuticles and hands. I take a multivitamin to stay healthy, and my mom gives me an antibiotic called Difflam in Australia. Or I drink hot water with honey and lemon if I get sick."Photos: Indigitalimages.com;

"I recently got a cut on my ankle that got infected, so it's really important to stay clean and use antiseptic spray on your hands. I like New-Skin Liquid Bandage and Nexcare Tegaderm film, which is clear so you don't see it, but it protects your skin."I eat lots of fruit and vegetables to help my immune system. I especially love watermelon to stay hydrated. I cleanse my face with Lush's Angels on Bare Skin, which is natural and doesn't contain any chemicals or allergens. It's what keeps my skin nice during fashion week."
