British model, Lesley Lawson, also known as Twiggy, due to her thin build, rose to fame in the 1960s due to her androgynous looks and big, beautiful eyes. Twiggy accentuated her doe eyes with loads of black mascara and would even draw on an extra layer of lashes underneath her eyes to give the appearance of more volume and length. Step 1: Twiggy hardly ever wore foundation as she preferred to leave her freckles on show. However, if you don’t want to leave your face completely bare, opt for concealer, powder, and a light peach or pink blush instead of a heavy foundation.
Step 2: Using a pearly white or light shade of eyeshadow such as the Dior Diorshow Mono Eyeshadow in Nude 506, brush over the entire eyelid to minimize darkness. You should also apply a highlighter in the corners and underneath the eye to help enhance and enlarge them.
