The holiday season (New Year’s Eve in particular) is one of the few times that it is socially acceptable for adults to apply copious amounts of head-to-toe shimmer—indeed it is a time that all beauty aficionados tend to capitalize on.
Once New Year’s has run its course however, you may find yourself perched over mountains of cotton pads and gallons of nail polish remover, vigorously chiseling your stubborn glitter lacquer away. Follow the five simple steps below to effectively remove all traces of your festive nail art with ease.
1. Completely saturate a cotton ball with an acetone nail polish remover. We recommend Cutex Strengthening Nail Polish Remover (US $5; AED/SAR 18).
2. Place the soaked cotton ball on your pinky nail and wrap your fingertip with aluminum foil.
3. Repeat the process on each of your fingers and thumb nails.
4. Let your nails soak for five minutes and then remove the foils.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 on your other hand.
