Step 1: The Lip Liner Applying your lip liner strategically on the outer edge of the lips will make them look fuller. Next, it’s on to the contouring tricks. Creating light and shadows with your lip liner can create an optical illusion of larger lips. “I like to apply three lines to the bottom lip,” says Marie. “Be sure to apply a line to the bottom middle part of the lips [as] this creates a very pouty lip effect. Apply two lines on the top lip and leave the middle part open. Step 2: Blend Opt for a lipstick in a shade lighter than your chosen lip liner. “This allows for the contour to still slightly show though the lipstick. To avoid messing up the lines, do not glide the lipstick across the lips—apply it in pressing motions onto the lips. Step 3: Gloss it Over The application of a gloss will add a 3D dimension to your lips, ensuring a fuller effect. “I like to apply a gloss with a hint of color and gold sparkle to it.
