Designers seem to be looking to the makeup monde for inspiration this season. (And here in the beauty department, we can’t say that we blame them.) In Milan, a dress inspired by a trip to the salon was one of the standouts at Stella Jean.

Red lipstick reigned supreme at Dolce & Gabbana, where a pair of black patent shoes with a lippie suspended in a Lucite heel caught our attention, as did a noir minidress emblazoned with crimson bullets at Saint Laurent.

On the street—no doubt a runway in and of itself—Yaz Bukey’s statement-making earrings proved to be undeniable photographer bait.

And even with the spectacle that was (and always is) the Chanel show, we couldn’t help but notice—and subsequently lose our minds over—a tiny clutch crafted in the likeness of a Les Beiges compact.
