Giovanna Battaglia (Senior Fashion Editor Of Vogue Japan and Contributing Fashion Editor of W magazine) recently posted this image on her Instagram account, which shows her clutching the September issue of Vogue Japan.

From what we can see from the cover, straight locks are officially back on the beauty radar for Fall—hoorah, or horror?

The supermodel-saturated cover of this September issue (the most coveted issue of the entire year) marks the 15th anniversary of the title. “Perfect Icons” was shot by Luigi & Lango  (Luigi Murenu and Lango Henzi) and the foldout cover features no less than 15 supermodels. On the cover itself, an all-star cast features some of the fashion world’s most celebrated faces: Claudia Schiffer, Nadja Auermann, Stephanie Seymour, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell, while the other catwalk queens to spot in the foldout include Carolyn Murphy, Eva Herzigova, Mariacarla Boscono, Karen Elson, and Natasha Poly, to name a few.

All sport poker straight, glassy locks in a myriad of different colors from Icelandic blonde to auburn and dark chocolate courtesy of hairstylist Luigi Murenu. This fall could be the time to dust off your straightening iron or book yourself for a Brazilian Blowout to morph into an altogether sleeker version of you.
