Going to great lengths, however, is not a new beauty movement started by the Queen—epic ponytails were seen on the runway at both Valentino’s and Chanel’s Fall 2014 shows. On the flip side, model Sasha Luss (pictured top and bottom left) and British songstress Ellie Goulding (bottom right) opted for chops. Whether they voluntarily shed a few inches in time for summer or made significant snips to sever the damage that bleach often wreaks on hair is up for debate. All we know is they could have bettered their chances by adhering to our prescription for platinum blonds.
