The pencil contains two complimentary shades of brown swirled together to create a multi-tonal hue that differs with every dot you draw, making your DIY freckles look more natural, while the long-wearing, waxy formula makes sure they stay put, eliminating any awkward smudge mishaps.
To create the most natural looking pigment (after all, a freckle is a cluster of natural skin melanin) “Tap marks quickly and randomly onto the skin starting on the bridge of the nose moving down onto the cheeks and outwards,” explained Hannay Murray, Topshop’s beauty consultant and the brains behind the pencil.
