Rihanna is no stranger to a superlong pony—she’s been seen sporting the style several times since the trend took off on the Fall 2014 runways. The silver tail she wore last night to host her first annual Diamond Ball, however, trumps all others. Perhaps taking inspiration from the look at Valentino’s Sala Bianca Haute Couture show and the recent wave of gray-haired girls (including the newest member to the club, Zosia Mamet), Rihanna’s sleek ponytail secured at the nape of her neck brilliantly combined both beauty ideas. Perhaps the only thing that rivaled her platinum strands was the shimmery garnet lipstick that matched her glittery (and sizeable) Chopard drop.
