Yes, Scented Manicures Are A Thing

Revlon

With so many nail polishes, gels, wraps and accessories on offer, I do enjoy a twist on the familiar when I see it – or smell it, in the case of Revlon’s Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel.

The eau de collection of 20 color-rich shades is split into three fragrance camps. China Flower, Orange Blossom and Pink Pineapple are the bold scents courtesy of the Fruits and Florals camp; Sweets and Spices centers around nudes, neutrals and molten metallics fragranced with the likes of Espresso, Autumn Spice and Italian Leather; and subtle Fresh Linen, Lavender Soap and Wintermint shades are from the soft Freshes collection. Although I should point out it’s not until the polish is completely dry that the scent comes through.

Just as refreshing as the fragrances themselves are the bottles the lacquers are distilled into, which Revlon’s global artistic director, Gucci Westman designed to resemble miniature perfume flacons.
If you’re looking for a great summer shade I would recommend Ginger Melon, a bright pinky-coral with a nice cream finish. The scent is light and sweet, less ginger and more watermelon.
