It is no secret that I’m a believer in the powers of the Rahua haircare line and it appears that I’m not the only one who has been charmed by the liquid gold. Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, and Johnny Depp (and isn’t he pretty) are also reported A-list fans. The formulas are made from 100% natural ingredients (no silicone or sulfates here) that are found in the Amazon.
The Rahua (pronounce ra-wa) is a nut found in the rainforest and the oil is the star ingredient that works to repair the hair from the outside in. This product line takes bleach-ravished lengths and can turn them into spun gold, not to mention it does wonders for split ends, frizzy lengths, and thirsty, fragile locks.
Launching in the Middle East this month, Rahua is opening a haircare lounge at Harvey Nichols in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates and I urge you to give its products a whirl. I have been using the Rahua Voluminous Shampoo & Conditioner and the resounding result is happy, shiny hair.
If you are looking for a product to put you on the fast track to smooth locks, then try the Rahua Omega 9 Hair Mask.
After a good shampoo, rinse your hair and apply a few pumps of this hair cream to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Leave for ten to fifteen minutes (in the meantime you could give yourself a great exfoliation) and rinse. With quinoa protein and Ungurahua oil, rich with omega-9, the hair is coated without being weighed down which is often the case with many other oils. Meanwhile, the eucalyptus gives a really fresh, tingling sensation.
Once combed through and rinsed, your hair feels like a wall of silk, even when wet. When your hair is dry, you will notice how light and fluffy it feels. Used once a week, this will help keep your blow dry without frizz—now that’s fifteen minutes well spent.
