Miuccia Prada’s Fall ’15 menswear and Pre-Fall womenswear collections were defined aesthetically by the same three words: “Uniform, severe, and elegant.” The beauty looks, however, varied between the sexes.

Backstage fixture Guido Palau provided the boys with tailored haircuts, while the ladies were treated to puffed-up side ponytails with a “nod” to the early ’80s. “The inspiration was the girl you see in a nightclub and want to be,” he explained. (With Body Reboot in full swing here on Style.com, we took one look at this party pony and immediately wanted to take it for a spin on both the dance floor and the treadmill.)

To get the look, the mane master applied Redken Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam and blow-dried models’ heads upside down. Next, the length was pulled high and tight and tied off with an elastic. Then the tail was swept to one side and secured with a sleek black barrette (a quick trick for keeping hair in place during a high-intensity workout). Hairspray and an additional dollop of Guts were glazed over top for a “sweaty” finish—though burning a few calories is sure to provide a similar effect.
