All Nars Cosmetics fanatics must be rejoicing at the news that Nars is finally available in the Middle East. Debuting this week at Sephora, The Dubai Mall, the brand has plans to expand across the region. François Nars’ makeup line, which is celebrating its 20th year in the beauty business, is famous for its slimline packaging, eye-popping pigments, and The Multiple makeup stick.
The 1970s-inspired fall makeup collection has just hit stores and the campaign starring Daria Strokous reminds us very much of Jerry Hall in her Studio 54 days.
“The 1970s have always resonated with me—the glamour, the opulence, and the makeup,” said François Nars. “Designers in the 1970s were inspired by the art deco age of the 1930s and it’s no wonder that both of those periods have had such an influence on me. I often dig into the 1970s for inspiration and you can feel that decadence in the jewel-toned palette and shimmering shades, especially the new Night Series Eyeliners.”
