Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Lana Del Rey are all pioneers in the nail art stakes. They never shy away from pushing boundaries and are often spotted with the talon-esque, stiletto nail. Beyoncé just posted a selfie showcasing her newly painted nails, opting for a classic, nude oval-shape, embossed with liquid gold. For those who have road-tested the stiletto nail, it can make daily chores and makeup application an arduous task.
If your nails refuse to grow and you are in the market for a set of look-at-me (sometimes verging on gaudy) nails for a little beauty playtime, Huda Kattan has launched her own set of false nails under her beauty line, Huda Beauty. Here are a set of false nails in a nude and pink color scheme that will do the trick—and fast. They take minutes to apply and the result is more credible than a set of acrylic fingertips but still not office appropriate by any means, considering typing and using your mobile phone will become a more time consuming, if not impossible practice.
The real challenge comes when trying to remove them. After a liter of nail varnish remover and a lot of grimacing, my assistant remarked that my nails looked like I had plunged my hand in glue and then chased a group of chickens (not good) but nonetheless, this is all a little tongue-in-cheek beauty fun.
