Center Braids Spotted at Milan Fashion Week

The braid is a beauty staple. A fail-safe, all-weather hairdo, it looks good dry, wet, messy, or precision perfect and it has that pixie-pretty vibe that never wears thin. Miniature braids that ran directly down the center parting, created by hairstylist, Orlando Pita, were spotted on the runway at the unveiling of Giamba, the Giambattista Valli secondary line. With straight lengths and center partings firmly back on the beauty map, why not accentuate the symmetry of it all with a braid.

Stating that this is one look that even mere mortals can try at home, Pita posted on Instagram, “

It’s young, it’s fresh, and girls, maybe you could do it yourselves if you know how to [make] #cornrows.”

Fashion-savvy beauty, Bianca Brandolini, was quick to pick up on the emerging hair trend and was spotted on her Instagram sporting a miniature braid down the center of her tresses.
