The warmer months call for effortless, barely-there makeup, and a playful pop of color—usually in the form of a bold lip. Lancôme’s latest creation, dubbed the Lancôme Juicy Shaker (US $21; AED/SAR 80) will make even those who avoid bright lips reconsider the playful appeal of a vibrant pout.

The new, colorful oil treatments are inspired by the ‘90’s cult-classic Juicy Tubes and The Shaker lipstick that debuted in 1946. The color sits at the bottom of the mini bottles, while a nourishing blend of apricot, peach, almond, cranberry, and rose de Muscat oils float at the top. Simply shake the bottle to blend the pigments and conditioning oils before application.

Once you twist open the lid, you’ll find an innovative soft cushion applicator. No swiping is necessary for this product, because unlike traditional lipstick and lipgloss, you simply tap to apply. The result is a soft, dewy pout, free from any stickiness.

The Juicy Shaker boasts 20 different shades that vary in fruity flavors and scents. The vibrant hues are on point for spring, but there are several options for color minimalists as well. A bright blue formula called “Mint to Be” goes on clear and creates the illusion of whiter teeth, while my personal favorite—a muted rose shade called “Piece of Cake”—adds a sophisticated touch to your look.
