The Secret Behind Khloé Kardashian’s New Fab Abs

Khloé Kardashian, who has been the subject of weight taunts for many years, recently showed off the results of her rigorous workout routine with fitness guru Gunnar Peterson—and, it turns out, just in time, considering that she’s one of the leading contenders to become the new host for E!’s “Fashion Police.”

In a classic bathroom selfie, the reality star revealed some very defined stomach muscles with the caption: “My fitness journey will be a lifelong journey. Fitness is not about being better than someone else; it’s about being better than you used to be. I’m not where I want to be and who knows if I ever will be, but I am healthier than ever and due to my consistent workouts, I am slowly seeing results.”

So, what does a typical workout involve? Peterson said that Khloé does plyometric push-ups, the sled, dead lifts, resistance bands, and ab movement to keep her as lean and toned as possible. And in case you’re wondering, a plyometric push-up is “like doing a jump with your hands. It’s where you are pushing off the bench and landing back on it. It’s a lot more demanding and stressful. It really works your whole body, specifically the chest, triceps, and core.”
