Following two years as the face of Neutrogena, Scandal actress Kerry Washington is expanding her role in the beauty world to include nails by taking on the role of the first-ever OPI creative ambassador.
In her new position, Washington, who is known to love a bold nail color, will be responsible for co-curating the shades and dreaming up polish names with OPI’s co-founder and brand ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann.
“I am a huge fan of OPI and was ecstatic when Suzi approached me to partner with the brand,” said Washington. “The brand’s broad spectrum of fashionable colors and iconic names have become an industry standard,” she continued.
Weiss-Fischmann echoed Washington’s enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, “She [Washington] empowers women through her sophisticated style, humor, and confidence. Most of all, she has a huge love of nail lacquer and has worn OPI for years and years.”
