If ever there were a fashion duo to be reckoned with, it would be Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. The pair of British beauties were photographed for the first time together by none other than Mario Testino for the latest Burberry fragrance, My Burberry—set to launch today.
The campaign stars the two supermodels, who look like sisters, with their sharp cheekbones, undone locks, long legs, and pouty mouths in full focus. Perched on an oversized My Burberry perfume bottle and both sporting the Burberry Sandringham trench, the two are a beauty dream team complete with a little rock-chick edge.
Here’s a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes…
Christopher Bailey (the Chief Creative and CEO of Burberry) is the mastermind behind the turnaround of the fashion house and often champions breaking British talents from the arts and music scene to front his attention-worthy campaigns. Of his latest scent venture, he states:
“My Burberry is the true embodiment of our brand, in scent, in design, and in attitude. A fragrance that takes its lead from the iconic Burberry trench has to be outstanding in every way.”
The latest scent was a collaborative process with nose Francis Kurkdjian. The floral scent has top notes of sweet pea and bergamot; heart notes of geranium, golden quince, and freesia; and base notes of damask and centifolia roses and patchouli.
