Diane Kruger showed some major braid game on the red carpet in West Hollywood last night for the premiere of FX’s The Bridge. To achieve the striking style, hair pro Kylee Heath began by prepping strands with Leonor Greyl Spray Structure Naturelle and rough drying in all directions. After making a series of parts, leaving a “triangle” of hair exposed, Heath crafted an “inside-out French braid” and secured it at the nape of the neck using a clear elastic.
With the remaining sections, Heath created a bit of volume at the roots and fashioned a loose French braid on top, leaving the inverted plait peeking out. While you’ll likely need to enlist a friend to pull this one off, Kruger’s innie-and-outtie combo is guaranteed to cause a few double takes.
