Last night, the biggest names in the regional and international fragrance industry were given their chance to shine at the third consecutive Fifi Awards or “the fragrance Oscars” as they are known; in a prestigious gala dinner held at the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa, Downtown Dubai. Attended by the industry’s prominent figures, including manufacturers, suppliers, retailers, distributers, and media professionals, the evening was a roaring success. Shahzad Haider, Chairman of Fragrance Foundation Arabia spoke of it as being “a truly remarkable awards night, a foreshadow of things to come.”
Arabian oud stood out as the favorite, dominating the Arabian fragrances category and taking home five of the 14 highly coveted awards. With more than 200,000 online fragrance fans voicing their votes, Paris Gallery was once again awarded retailer of the year.
