This column reveals the personal beauty recipes, homegrown remedies, and family concoctions that the industry’s trusted pros rely on for staying radiant.

From the Kitchen of: Angela Jia Kim, founder of Savor Spa and Om Aroma & Co

“This mask is detoxifying but it also has moisturizing properties since honey is a natural humectant. Cinnamon speeds up your skin’s regeneration and is antiseptic, making it a powerful anti-aging and purifying ingredient (if you’re pregnant, you may want to leave out this ingredient). Nutmeg gently exfoliates—with a delicious aroma.”

One for the Recipe Box: Moisturizing Honey Mask

1tsp of cinnamon
1tsp of nutmeg
2tbsp of organic manuka honey

“Mix ingredients together in a bowl and then apply to damp, clean skin. Leave on for 20 minutes. Remove with a warm washcloth.
