Caroline de Maigret is the New Face of Lancôme

Caroline De Maigret is a quintessential French beauty. The celebrated face has just penned a book called How To Be A Parisian Wherever You Are. Love, Style And Bad Habits and has now been announced as the latest ambassadress for French beauty brand Lancôme. Having met the statuesque muse this year, I saw for myself why she is so intriguing. Sure, her razor sharp cheekbones, athletic frame, and caramel-lit hair capture your attention. Yet, under the flawless surface is an air of cool paired with a quiet confidence which makes her altogether beguiling and such a relatable beauty.

There are three particular Lancôme products that de Maigret swears by. “I always wear lots of mascara; I really like Hypnôse Star Mascara by Lancôme. My eyes are the part of my face that I like to emphasize, because I think that you can read people’s personality in their eyes. I really like it when people look me in the eye and, more than that, I think that accentuating your eyes hides other flaws. As far as I’m concerned, it allows me to hide my dark circles or at least make them a little less noticeable. For the evening, I outline my eyes with a sweep of Khôl Hypnôse Waterproof above the lashes and a more brown and coppery eye shadow to be a bit sexier. When I want to have fun and to feel incredibly feminine, I will simply add a slick of L’Absolu Rouge lipstick with mascara, but not put any color on my eyes.”
