Instead of going rogue this summer, it appears that bright, young fashion things are going rose. Cara Delevingne is the latest convert—debuting a bubblegum wig at the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival this weekend in Montreal to support girlfriend St. Vincent. The model’s candy-color concert disguise comes hot on the heels of another catwalker’s “mermaizing” transformation, as Georgia May Jagger opted for rainbow streaks just last week. But neither Brit is breaking new beauty ground, as the warmer months have provided a steady stream of pink—a trend that kicked off during the Fall 2015 shows with platinum blonds like Marjan Jonkman and Linn Arvidsson temporarily tinged blush at Gucci. Fernanda Ly, a model who’s become somewhat of a poster girl for pink hair, stood out on Louis Vuitton’s ready-to-wear and Resort runways. Caroline Trentini rocked a variegated rose hue for the July cover of Vogue España, and male model Oliver Stummvoll starred in Versace’s Fall 2015 campaign sporting a striking Pepto shade. In the Insta-universe, Saint Laurent darling Julia Cumming debuted a blush dye job last month, which faded into a dusty mauve according to her most recent selfie. Some say that blue is the warmest color, but according to the fashion sphere, pink is hot.
