Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner were quite the dashing duo backstage at the Chanel Métiers d’art show in Salzburg, Austria yesterday. The latest Lagerfeld darlings had their hair coiffed straight and sealed with a bow and a jeweled hair comb courtesy of hair stylist Sam McKnight. The smattering of sparkle in the hair echoed the makeup.
Key makeup artist Tom Pecheux and his team set to work to create creamy complexions that had a touch of highlighter on the cheeks for a romantic “I have just been running in the snow” glow. The frosty accents were reflected in the eye makeup, which saw sooty, charcoal-lined eyelids glisten with a dusting of gold glitter.
The dramatic black and gold color palette remained delicate with the precision application of the glitter. A hit of metallic was seen just above the lash line, which flashed every time the models blinked. The socket line was rimmed with the charcoal to maintain the structure of the smoky eye. For an instant alpine appeal, add a shot of glitter to the innermost corners of the eyes.
