Badgley Mischka is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the arrival of its Spring 2015 RTW collection—and did so with a beauty bang. The design duo, Mark Badgley and James Mischka, are known for their pretty gowns and glossy models, complete with rosy cheeks. Yesterday, the designers blasted through the beauty barrier by sending models down the catwalk with frosty blue eyebrows, no less.

Evidently, bold eyebrows are still in the beauty spotlight. In the past, we have seen Pat McGrath’s bleached-out brows, bejeweled brows courtesy of Chanel, and how about the pierced brows at yesterday’s Rodarte show?
This bold brow story was orchestrated by makeup artist, Tom Pecheux, who used M.A.C. eyeshadows to create the whimsical look. The rest of the face was kept completely nude, apart from a slick of metallic eyeliner at the inner most corners of the eyes and a dabbing of clear gloss on the lips.
Not designed for the office, the look, paired with pastel hues and transparent chiffon and tulle, somehow all made perfect sense on the runway.
