“It” model of the moment, Bella Hadid, scooped up the “Model of the Year” award at the Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards ceremony on Sunday night with slick hair and even sleeker legs. The green-eyed beauty scraped her trademark waves into a deep side sweep before securing her tresses into a low chignon—think hopping out of the shower on a Saturday morning and combing your still-wet mane into an effortless bun. The chic, glossy knot lent Hadid’s leg-baring Moschino tuxedo dress a demure polish. The 19-year-old Palestinian model turned the look up a notch with high-gloss lids, a dab of highlighter on the inner corners of her eyes, and a dusting of blush along her cheekbones. A swivel of gleaming, nude gloss was slicked across her lips for an elegant finish. The wet hair and pastel makeup palette offered a stark contrast to Hadid’s usual windswept waves and barely there makeup, and suggests that swept back hair and a swipe of gloss is all we’ll need to carry us through to summer.
