After a good shaking of the bottle and a swift application of the honey liquid, you’ll obtain a very au naturel look indeed, obviously designed for the low maintenance lady who needs virtually zero coverage at all.
It makes me think of the tale of The Emperor’s New Clothes and wonder: does this liquid disguise anything at all?
After a trial at the beauty desk, I can confirm that it does even out the overall appearance of the skin, but that it isn’t heavy duty enough to cover inflammation or imperfections. What did take me by surprise was that one shade, Bare Natural 07, worked to even out my own skin tone as well as that of two editorial assistants—and we all have completely different colored complexions.
This formula is so sheer, that you won’t have to admit to anyone that you’ve applied any makeup at all. It is also far more suitable for humid weather conditions than the BB creams, not to mention that its formula is hypoallergenic, paraben and oil free, and jam packed with anti-oxidants and plant stem cells technology. I still however, believe that it isn’t a foundation per se—rather it is a tinted serum that is more of a skincare treat than a makeup product. If you already have perfect skin, then this new product is for you.
