Here’s something I never thought I’d say: I want a strap for my sunglasses. Actually, let me rephrase that: I want a Balenciaga strap for my sunglasses. Attached to sporty, mirrored lenses (reminiscent of the kind worn by cyclists), these neoprene bands were embellished with the same “sea urchin” beading seen on sweaters for Fall 2014.
The sleek and polished strands by Guido Palau also suggested the notion of speed. The pro applied a combo of Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Primer and Satinwear to damp hair before blowing it straight with a large paddle brush. Extensions were added and hacked off bluntly for a minimal, uniform, and futuristic finish.
If one ever needed motivation to get moving, the idea of zooming past the competition with an ultrasmooth blow-out and a haute band should do the job.
