While the faces below didn’t exactly wear these now-legendary looks the first time around, they are fully embracing the decade’s beauty flavor in 2015. Prior to ditching her signature blond for a My Little Pony-inspired dye job, Georgia May Jagger debuted double knots on Instagram, as did fellow catwalker Mina Cvetkovic. Gigi Hadid rocked a matte chestnut lip reminiscent of the “’90s club kid” at Public School’s Fall ’15 show with aplomb, along with a flick of black liner and dip-dyed silvery-blue strands. And Magdalena Frackowiak made a choker—arguably the most iconic accessory from the decade—feel thoroughly modern with a soft, undone chignon secured at the nape. With flannel coats and creepers experiencing a revival on the runway (as seen at shows like Alexander Wang, Coach, and 3.1 Phillip Lim), we plan to stage a head-to-toe revival with hair and makeup moves that would make Angela Chase proud.
