Arab Beauty Crush for 2015: Kenza Fourati

“I grew up in a Muslim culture, but I can still be a swimsuit model, too! Why should the two be exclusive? It is not…I am very supported back home.”
—Kenza Fourati during an interview with the Global Grind

Kenza Fourati is a 5’ 10.5” tall brunette beauty, notable for her dark features and athletic frame. Her smoldering eyes peep out from behind her blunt-cut bangs, giving her an essence not unlike French model Caroline De Maigret.

Born in Lille, France, Fourati was brought up in her native Tunisia, where she ventured into the world of modeling. After being picked up by Elite Model Management at the age of 15, she went on to walk the runway for the likes of Valentino, Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, and Celine, to name a few. Her editorials have appeared in Vogue Paris, Elle, Marie Claire, and Grazia, but it is her appearance in Sports Illustrated that has her on the radar as a pioneering beauty—one that also made our list of Arab beauties on Instagram.

Here’s why she made the cut:
