Talking Platinum Hair With Poppy Delevingne

At Style.com/Arabia, we have invented a beauty hashtag, #poppyforplatinum, just to see if the British beauty would delve into the world of seriously icy blondes for fall.

On her recent whistle-stop trip to Dubai, the popular middle child of the Delevingne clan talked frankly about all things beauty with our Senior Editor, Sofia Guellaty, at the World of Nobu Gala Dinner at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. Whether being photographed at couture week or partying like a rockstar with her cool gang, Poppy is known for her twiggy-esque physique and pure English rose beauty. Refreshingly honest about her beauty regime (and sometimes lack thereof), we discovered her love of pizza, coconut oil, and how she honed her physique for her wedding earlier this year (to long-time love, James Cook). It’s fair to say that after our encounter with this blonde, we totally understand what keeps Poppy at the top of the invitation list of every fashionable soirée…

If I told you that at Style.com/Arabia, we’ve started a Twitter and Instagram campaign to make you go platinum blonde, what would you say?

First of all, that’s hilarious. I love the idea of #poppyforplatinum and guess what, I’ve decided that I’m actually going to go blonder.

Who do you trust to look after your tresses?

Jack Howard at Neville’s hair salon in Belgravia (London) is the best. He uses the balayage technique highlights on my hair. I’m naturally very light, but I haven’t touched my hair for over a year and my husband is hinting to me that he would “like his blonde one back,” although personally, I’ve liked having roots for a while.

If you had to choose, which three skincare brands would top your list?

I wash my face with Liz Earle, use Sisley for SPF, and SkinCeuticals.

May we have a peek at your makeup bag?

Sure, these are the products that you will always find on me:
