RAPUNZEL BRAIDS at VALENTINO
“You are the beautiful daughters of Adam and Eve, back to the garden of Eden strolling graciously and peacefully to a new apple tree…” read the sign backstage at Valentino. Models were motivated to channel the figures in a painting by Hieronymus Bosch—The Garden of Earthly Delights. They took to the runway with loose, hip-grazing braids that fell down the center of their backs.
